Medical Marijuana Program
The State of Florida permits Marijuana to be used to treat patients with certain medical conditions. At Parnell Healthcare, one of our certified physicians will evaluate the patient to determine if they meet at least one of the qualifying conditions under Florida’s Medical Marijuana Law. Then, we will provide the patient with assistance in completing the application process to obtain their medical marijuana card.
How the program works
To qualify for medical marijuana in Florida, a patient must:
- Have residency in the state of Florida as outlined by Amendment 2.
- Be diagnosed by a certified doctor as having one of the following qualifying conditions:
In addition to the qualifying conditions above, State law allows for treatment of other “diagnosable, debilitating conditions of like, kind, or class” (such as anxiety, depression, and migraines), as well as terminal conditions (diagnosed by a physician other than the physician issuing certification) and chronic nonmalignant pain.
Upon obtaining your Medical Marijuana Card, you can shop for products at any Medical Marijuana Dispensary in the State of Florida.
